Lily has always looked up to Minerva as a very wonderful Head of House and teacher, seeing as Transfiguration was Lily's second best class. Maybe she could be a motherly figure to Lily? Corwin probably gave Minerva plenty of headaches back when he was in school and since he's living and working in Hogmeade, his probably giving her headaches via the products he sells to her students. So Gabriel was one of her brighter students, and he would have sought her instruction when he was trying to become an animagus. I also believe that he would have invited McG to his wedding, and holds her in the highest respect. He would have been sorted into her house if he weren't bugging the Sorting Hat with his questions. Other than that he probably views her as a parental sort of figure, and I have it planned that later when he and his wife have their third child that they would name their child after Minerva. I see a near familial relationship here.

So Gabriel was one of her brighter students, and he would have sought her instruction when he was trying to become an animagus. I also believe that he would have invited McG to his wedding, and holds her in the highest respect.  He would have been sorted into her house if he weren't bugging the Sorting Hat with his questions. Other than that he probably views her as a parental sort of figure, and I have it planned that later when he and his wife have their third child that they would name their child after Minerva. I see a near familial relationship here.

To put all the above in short, Pansy feels a sort of love/hate student-teacher relationship for Minerva. Basically she loves Transfigurations and its her best subject ever, she thinks Minerva is a great professor that knows how to do her job and teach them all the secrets of her subject, that not mentioning the part she's a cat animagus which Pansy thinks it's beyond cool. However she is also the Head of Gryffindorks who has a thing for being too fair for her own good thus she probably deducted quite a few points from Pansy in the past for her lovely behavior. So, loving the professor, hating the fairness and Gryffindorks she governs. But all this is a secret as she doesn't wish her fellow snakes to realize her fondness for Minerva so when she isn't with the others she is decently respectful and honest towards her when it comes to school work, but when in the company of them she will be the usual arrogant snake everyone knows.
